Student's question

One of my students asked me a question: "Have you had any experience with Remo Suede drum heads?"

My answer: I used Suede heads for a short period of time. They might turn out to be to your liking. They have that extra elasticity and a rubbery, spongy feel to them. I ended up using Coated Ambassadors on all my drums, bass drum included, but Suedes are fine, too. Student's response: "The reason I asked you is that I do like coated Ambassador but they get really dirty over time. The suede has a little different coating on it and it's less likely to get dirty".
